About the role
Senior Project ManagerClient is looking for an engaged seasoned professional in the role of Senior Project Manager who can make an immediate impact. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, be task/schedule oriented, proven project management successes, and ability to work successfully in a fast paced, complex work environment. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and polished professional capable of prioritizing work, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills, professional communication skills, flexibility and teamwork. Some job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the project management of multiple fast paced programs to manage scope, schedule and budget
Responsible for implementing new product and project development policies and procedures
Run multiple project/product meetings weekly both with the internal team and external customers (taking notes, following up on action items, etc)
Collaborate on a cross-functional team directly with software / hardware engineers and operational subject matter experts to ensure project success
Work with the finance and contracting team to develop and maintain a budget, reports, and deliverables in line with contract requirements
Create, develop, manage project/program scope and schedules to ensure milestones are met for the programs
Apply process and technical enablement knowledge to analyze and solve problems including design of technology solutions and integration of new technology and/or process
Understand the internal ecosystem and identify opportunities for improvement with company policies, program execution, training, etc
Lead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements (both internal and external to the company)
Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor of Science in related field. Preferred: Master's degree in related field.
Experience and Skills:
Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience focusing on project management/operations experience
At least five (5) years of experience leading technical teams and/or managing software and hardware developers preferred
Extremely strong customer centric mindset
Solutions and client service-oriented, with an emphasis on creativity and relationships
Strong process orientation, capable of creating new processes, or significantly redesigning existing processes to align with hanging business requirements
Experience running manufacturing of hardware product for on-time delivery
Very strong data analytics/insights. Ability to draw interferences and insights, highlight trends, and correlate causal factors with end outcomes
Comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity
Proven change management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
PMP Certification
Experience of dealing with a remote/contingent workforce, knowledge of MSP and IT staffing industry
Experience with Jira/Confluence
