Utility Painter - Weld Shop USA Waste and Recycling
Position Summary:
The Utility Painter in the Weld Shop is responsible for preparing, priming, and painting the structure's steel or fabricated metal parts using sprayers, rollers, and/or brushes. This position is also responsible for ensuring surfaces are free of rust and scale while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards in a weld shop environment.
Compensation: $18.00-$22.00 per hour.

Your Role:
Clean steel surfaces to ensure paint adhesion Apply industrial primers and topcoats on steel components Mask surfaces, mix coatings, maintain spraying equipment, and clean the painting area/equipment after use. Wear proper PPE and comply with safety regulations, ensuring proper ventilation during coating operations. Assist with loading/unloading materials and moving finished products in the area. Participate in all required Company meetings, including weekly safety meetings. Maintain reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards. Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Requirements:
Painting experience Industrial or manufacturing painting experience is preferred.
