About the role
- Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial, refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment
- Provide the highest level of service to the customer and professionally communicate the service needed to customers and management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Legibly document and maintain accurate records for services performed on behalf of the customer.
- Consult with management to get needed parts ordered.
- Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnosing problems with equipment. Install parts ordered for the customer in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.
- Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards.
- High School graduate/GED or the equivalent
- Three years of experience as a refrigeration/HVAC equipment technician
- Must be EPA certified.
- CEFESA certification is a plus.
- Additional experience in gas, electric, and/or steam repairs is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Own industry’s standard hand tools.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Must be motivated, a self-starter and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision.
