Minimum requirements: Chief Engineer – Ocean, Any HP, Limited – 1600GRT/3000 ITC LicenseSTCW (including but not limited to OICEW, VPDSD, and Advanced Fire Fighting)Medical Care Provider Current CPR/First Aid Training Lifeboatman Current TWICValid Passport – must be able to travel internationally with no felonies, DUI, or other convictions which would restrict entry into Canada or other nations.
Responsibilities
Minimum Experience: 3 years' experience as Engineer Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning System Maintainer Training Prior experience with towing vessel deck machinery Experience or training with PLC control systems Proficiencies with Word, Excel, Outlook and maintenance-based programs
Preferred Experience: Experience with Caterpillar or Wartsila Qualifications Probation: 90 workdays
Compensation: As per contract Geographic Area: Lake Charles or Jacksonville Homeport - East Coast/Gulf of Mexico This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Compensation, including hourly wages or salary, benefits, and otherterms of employment, will be in accordance with the applicable unioncontract. Specific pay rates and benefits will be provided during thehiring process and are based on the terms outlined in the agreement.
