Job Description
Pallet and Crate Builder: The Crate & Pallet Builder is responsible for constructing, assembling, repairing, and maintaining standard and custom wooden pallets, crates, and specialty wood packaging used for shipping, storage, and material handling applications. This role involves interpreting build sheets, shop drawings, and customer specifications to accurately measure, cut, and assemble lumber using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and production equipment. The builder supports safe, efficient, and high-quality production by ensuring finished products meet structural, dimensional, and customer requirements while maintaining productivity and craftsmanship standards. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and the physical capability to perform hands-on construction work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Material Handler: The Material Handler supports pallet and wood packaging manufacturing operations by loading, unloading, stacking, sorting, and moving raw materials and finished products throughout the production process. Working closely with the Setup & Machine Operator (SMO) or Production Operator, this role helps maintain continuous production flow by ensuring machinery is consistently supplied with materials and finished products are safely removed, organized, and prepared for the next stage of production or shipment. Material Handlers are responsible for identifying defects, damage, or quality concerns in raw materials and finished products, removing non-conforming materials from production as needed, and assisting with maintaining machine flow, stability, and overall production efficiency. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
