What We Have: Hourly pay range: $22-$24/hour Benefits such as medical, vision, and dental Paid time off and 7 paid holidays Eligible for yearly performance-based bonus Annual performance evaluations Employee appreciation events Supplemental benefits, including life insurance and 401k contributions Incentive-based Refer-a-Friend Program Team training sessions and advancement opportunities What We Need: We need a Shipping & Receiving Clerk who is responsible for scheduling all outbound and inbound deliveries and performing similar tasks relating to warehouse, receiving, and shipping duties.
What You Will Do: You will check in drivers and verify they have accurate paperwork for the shipment or receipt You will create receiving documents, bills of lading, and use pick tickets to ascertain accurate skid counts for carriers You will review paperwork packets for accuracy and reissue to the floor for correction as needed You will transact and process receipts and shipments following standard procedures within the WMS system You will alert all necessary internal staff regarding inbound issues, backorders, and shipping statuses You will report discrepancies to the shift supervisor or department manager You will assist customer service by identifying and researching customer issues that are related to the shipping (and receiving) of orders You will assist the department in answering and creating online quotes for customer inquiries regarding freight pricing as needed You will follow up on warehouse inquiries made by internal departments You will assist the shift supervisor, as well as the department manager, when requested You will contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related goals for results as needed
What You Need: Must have a high school diploma or GED1 year + previous industry experience Previous Shipping and Freight Experience Proficient in Excel, word, and outlook and the ability to use or quickly understand a WMS.Good work ethic, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team Customer service background or relevant work experience Exemplary Customer-Facing and Customer Service Skills Experience in a Warehouse Environment Strong Computer Skills Detail-Oriented Organizational Skills Self-Motivated Creative Problem-Solving
