About the role
Forklift Operator We are hiring reliable, safety-focused Forklift Operators to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, load, and unload merchandise while maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting productivity standards. Candidates should have previous forklift or warehouse equipment experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
Move, stack, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, prepare, and stage orders for shipment.
Verify product types and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
Use RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory.
Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
Follow all warehouse safety policies and operating procedures.
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 6 months of forklift operation or warehouse equipment experience preferred.
Ability to successfully complete the required forklift certification.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic math skills and general computer proficiency, including basic Excel.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 1012 hours per shift.
Ability to lift and/or pull 1050 pounds as required.
Ability to frequently bend, stretch, lift, and reach at or above shoulder level.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures, lighting conditions, and noise levels.
Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
