About the role
Coalition Consulting has been retained to identify a capital markets professional for an established commercial real estate debt investment platform. This hire will play a leadership role across the platform's capital markets activities and contribute to the strategic direction of the business as it grows.
Responsibilities:
- Source, negotiate, and manage back-leverage facilities, including warehouse and repo lines
- Serve as a senior external-facing representative of the platform, building and maintaining relationships across lenders, syndication partners, and other market counterparties
- Support loan syndication and note placement with capital partners
- Partner across origination, underwriting, portfolio management, and legal to drive transaction execution
- Oversee facility utilization, liquidity, and reporting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years within an institutional CRE balance sheet lending platform
- Experience sourcing and negotiating back-leverage credit facilities
- Strong technical command of floating-rate CRE credit structures
- A relationship-driven approach and the credibility to represent the platform externally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
