About the role
- Conduct Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP), Expanded Scope Polygraph (ESP), and Specific Issue Polygraph (SIP) examinations in accordance with National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA) standards.
- Comply with all Quality Control (QC) guidance and promptly report any concerns or issues to QC personnel.
- Accurately document examination results and admissions and maintain records within the Polygraph Branch's official system of record.
- Conduct up to two examination sessions per scheduled workday unless otherwise directed by QC or management.
- Each CSP, ESP, or SIP examination is considered one session. Every effort will be made to backfill canceled appointments and no-shows.
- Maintain a current NCCA Federal Polygraph Certification.
- Complete a minimum of 40 hours of annual continuing education to maintain polygraph certification requirements.
- What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Active Top Secret/SCI.Ability to obtain and maintain a CI POLY.Bachelor's degree and 11 years of previous Polygraph Examiner experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting a variety of NCCA-approved polygraph examination formats and testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to assess and determine an examinee's suitability for polygraph testing.
- Experience developing and drafting NCCA-compliant examination questions.
- Strong interviewing skills, including the ability to conduct detailed and comprehensive subject interviews.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret physiological data obtained during polygraph examinations.
- Experience rendering and documenting definitive examination outcomes in accordance with established standards.
- Demonstrated experience preparing clear, concise, and fact-based reports that comply with prescribed policies and procedures.
- Security Clearance Requirement:
- An active Top Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.
