About the role

Managing a portfolio of business travel accounts, the full-time Business Travel Account Manager will support the US Account Sales Leader in executing strategies, maintaining client relationships, and coordinating the RFP process, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities: Coordinate and execute the RFP process for assigned accounts in the business travel segment Implement business travel initiatives, including gap analysis and hotel research Provide ongoing account service and support to central buyers and intermediaries
Required qualifications: High school diploma with 4 years of experience in sales and marketing, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of relevant experience Experience managing the business travel sales process or equivalent experience with a major hotel chain or travel management company Proven track record in account management and team-based selling Familiarity with data analysis and financial management related to hotel pricing Strong understanding of the travel industry and Marriott's business strategies
