IT Project Manager | Remote | Contract Walker Healthforce is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead planning, execution, governance, and delivery of complex technology projects spanning areas such as software development, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, system integrations, and data migrations. This is a Contract opportunity.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours
Worker Type: W2Core Requirements: Project/program management experience delivering complex IT solutions Experience with structured project management methodologies and formal approaches such as PMBOK or PRINCE2Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and deliverables Experience with risk, issue, dependency, RAID, and governance management Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies Understanding of SDLCExperience supporting development, infrastructure, cloud migration, system integration, and/or data migration projects Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and facilitation skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence Proficiency with MS Project, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office tools We Consider It A Bonus If You Also Have: Smartsheet or similar project management software experienceExperience with learning methodologies or solutions Change management methodology and consultation experienceExperience coordinating multiple workstreams within complex matrixed organizations
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and dependencies
  • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, scope, roles, and success criteria
  • Manage technology initiatives across applicable development, infrastructure, cloud, integration, and data migration workstreams
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans
  • Maintain RAID logs and escalate critical issues appropriately
  • Coordinate resources and resolve availability conflicts
  • Develop project delivery metrics, status reports, dashboards, and executive communications
  • Facilitate alignment and decision-making across business, technical, and operational stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and competing priorities
  • Drive action-item completion and timely project delivery
  • Support continuous improvement of project management processes, methodologies, and frameworks
