Administrative & PR AssistantA nonprofit organization is seeking an organized, personable, and detail-oriented Administrative & PR Assistant to support daily office operations, member communications, events, and fundraising activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating events, and handling a variety of administrative tasks in a community-oriented organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer phone calls and respond to emails from members and external contactsMaintain member information, payments, and other records in the databaseManage office supplies, incoming and outgoing mail, and general administrative tasksPrepare and distribute a weekly email newsletterAssist with planning and coordinating member, community, and cultural eventsSupport fundraising events and Foundation grant activitiesCoordinate event invitations, registrations, and attendee listsAssist with meetings and communications with other business and community organizationsWrite and proofread articles and other content for newsletters and online communicationsSupport weekend events as neededAssist the Executive Director and staff with special projects and other administrative dutiesQualificationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong English and Japanese communication skills; native or native-level Japanese preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointProfessional and dependable with a positive attitudePrevious administrative, event coordination, customer service, or nonprofit experience is a plusAssociate degree or equivalent experience preferredValid driver's license preferredScheduleMondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PMHybrid schedule: approximately 2 days in the office and 3 days remoteSome weekend work is required for eventsDuring the initial training period, the position will generally be based in the office for several weeksCompensation & Benefits$46,200 per yearMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance for employee and familyOther benefits according to company policy90-day introductory period
