Senior Quality Engineer$130,000–$170,000 + Equity + Full Benefits | Hybrid | San Diego, CAA growing photonics company is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to help build and scale its quality function across next-generation optical products for AI, data centre and HPC applications. This is a hands-on role covering Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality and Supplier Quality. Working closely with engineering, operations, suppliers and external manufacturing partners, you’ll help build and scale the company’s quality infrastructure as it continues to grow.
What you’ll be doing: Lead ISO certification and quality management systems Drive manufacturing quality, yield and product reliability Manage Supplier Quality, audits, qualification and SCARsLead RCA, CAPA and non-conformance investigations Develop FMEA, Quality Control Plans and SPCTrack and improve key quality metrics
What we’re looking for: 5+ years' Quality Engineering experience in semiconductor, advanced packaging or photonics Strong Quality Systems / ISO experience Supplier Quality and subcontractor management experience Experience with SPC, FMEA, 8D, 5-Why and Gage R&ROptical transceiver experience is highly preferreds This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of quality systems and processes within an ambitious technology business, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to support the development and scaling of advanced products.
Location: San Diego, CA – Hybrid
Salary: $130,000–$170,000 + Equity + Full Benefits Package
