About the role
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field, and five (5) years of experience in job offered or in an industrial engineering role in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Special Requirements:
Must have five (5) years of experience in process mapping, data analysis, and statistical analysis tools with continuous process improvement methodologies using Lean Six Sigma improvement frameworks. Must have five (5) years of training experience in safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment. Must havefive (5) years of experience utilizing engineering optimization software such as AutoCAD or Solid Works. Must have five (5) years of experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining, developing, and implementing optimal manufacturing and engineering process methodologies to continuously improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost across all stages of the process lifecycle. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct thorough analysis of warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement, including workflow design, material handling, equipment utilization, and inventory management. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety within warehouse operations. Design and implement process flow diagrams, value stream maps, and other visual tools to communicate process changes, improvement plans, and performance metrics. Identify and recommend opportunities for automation and technology integration to streamline warehouse processes and enhance productivity. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that equipment and machinery are properly maintained and optimized for maximum efficiency. Conduct regular process audits to identify compliance gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in warehouse operations and process engineering, and apply this knowledge to enhance warehouse performance.
