About the role

Purchasing Agent Insight Global is looking for a Purchasing Agent to join our manufacturing client in Omaha, NE or Harlan, IA. This individual will be responsible for supporting the procurement of materials, components, equipment, and outsourced services needed to keep manufacturing operations running efficiently. They will create and manage purchase orders in SAP, monitor supplier delivery schedules, expedite critical shipments, and maintain purchasing records and inventory data. They will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production Scheduling teams to ensure materials are delivered on time, resolve supplier quality and delivery issues, approve invoice pricing and quantities, and help maintain strong supplier relationships while supporting overall quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an annual salary between $73,000-$83,000 based on experience.
