Work Environment:
This role is primarily remote, offering flexibility to manage your work-life balance while still engaging with clients from various schedules across our community health clinic. Collaborating with other mental health professionals and medical staff will be essential, as you compile and share insights to create a holistic approach to client care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather psycho-social information from clients and their families, ensuring a complete understanding of their needs. Utilize your knowledge of the mental health recovery model to inform clinical practices, integrating recovery principles into your therapeutic approach. Work collaboratively with clients to develop, maintain, and implement tailored crisis intervention and treatment plans, with an emphasis on leveraging client strengths. Engage in family therapy sessions that promote healing dynamics within the family unit, fostering a supportive environment for both clients and their relatives. Document client progress accurately and maintain up-to-date treatment records, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Regularly consult and collaborate with medical professionals and fellow clinicians to ensure each client receives comprehensive, well-rounded care tailored to their individual situations. Patient Population / Client FocusYou will primarily work with clients struggling with addiction and related mental health challenges, including adolescents and families. Your role will enable you to directly impact their recovery journey, fostering resilience and hope while navigating the complexities associated with mental health issues.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.
An active license to practice as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State is mandatory.
At least 2 years of relevant mental health experience, focusing on addiction-related issues is essential.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with therapeutic techniques, particularly those related to grief counseling and addiction recovery.
Compensation and Benefits:
