About the role

Position: Machine Maintenance Technician

Group 3Location: 16505 W 113th St, Lenexa Kansas 66219

Pay rate: $27/hr + $1/hr shift differential

Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pmContract Length: 3 Months

Responsibilities: Repairs and maintains machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Cleans and lubricates parts, orders replacement parts, inspects completed repairs and returns equipment to Adapts procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Basic Qualifications: (BQs):Education and Experience: 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA with 2 years prior machine maintenance experience. Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex Use of basic hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine tools and their use. Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs.

Preferred Qualifications: (PQs):Education: HS/GED

Experience: 3 years prior machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Mechanical: Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
