Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Supervisor will provide input data, direct, and assist in the development of the long- and short-range assembly schedules by the designated plant planners utilizing the information provided from projected demand requirements and consideration of our PSI initiative. This role develops and implements the Baan SCS Planning / Scheduling and Execution tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement the ERP, Scheduling, Execution and Planning Tools.
- Establish rolls and surrounding the production area of the Supply Chain.
- Establish training requirements and in conjunction with the IT Training manager develop the necessary training curriculum for the courses.
- Master Plan the respective plant in conjunction with TIC`s PSI initiative.
- Develop Improvement Plans for production planning.
- Participate in the Training and Education of Management concerning the utilization of SCS Observe and promote Toshiba policies, procedures, and culture.
- Education and Certifications Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; Minimum 2-year associated level degree required.
- APICS or CPIM preferred
Required Qualifications:
- 4 year minimum plant management experience, including working knowledge of bills of material, routers, work center scheduling, master planning both short and mid-range, LVC education in manufacturing, SCS scheduling, SCS execution, and SCS planning
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, procurement, and warehouse processes.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills with the ability to supervise and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional activities, and ensure timely execution of supply chain objectives.
- Experience monitoring KPIs, conducting inventory audits, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and support operational excellence across the supply chain function.
