Job Summary:
Reclaim Water Services is hiring a reliable and hard-working General Assembly Technician to support the assembly and fabrication of water treatment systems in our Odessa production yard. This role will work directly under the Production Manager to assist with a wide range of tasks, including equipment assembly, material handling, and basic mechanical assembly duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly of the water treatment equipment, skids, and components.
Perform general yard labor, including cleaning, organizing tools and parts, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Support welders, electricians, with hands-on help as needed.
Move and organize materials using forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if needed).Load and unload parts, equipment, and supplies from trucks and trailers.
Help track inventory, tag parts, and prepare items for transport to field locations.
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment as directed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience assembling and fabricating mechanical equipment.
Requires a knowledge of metal fabrication, pipe and plumbing assembly.
Previous experience in a yard, shop, or oilfield environment preferred but not required.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
Forklift experience a plus (certification preferred or willing to train).Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions.
Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
