Project Scope: The project involves Van Sinderen Avenue Streetscape Improvements in Brooklyn, including roadway reconstruction, sidewalk improvements, sewer and watermain work, ADA ramps, traffic management, and other streetscape improvements. Scope of work
Key Responsibilities: Inspect construction activities and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications. Monitor roadway, sidewalk, sewer, watermain, and streetscape construction. Inspect ADA ramps, curbs, concrete, pavement, and related infrastructure. Monitor traffic control, detours, and maintenance of traffic activities. Prepare daily inspection reports, documentation, and photographs. Identify construction issues and communicate deficiencies to the project team. Coordinate with contractors and other project stakeholders.
Requirements: Experience as a Construction Inspector / Senior Inspector. Strong civil/infrastructure construction inspection experience. Experience with roadway, utility, sewer, watermain, or streetscape projects preferred. Strong knowledge of construction plans and specifications. Excellent documentation and communication skills. NYC DDC or NYC public works experience is required.
