The Company We are a consulting firm that designs, engineers, prototypes, and manufactures a wide variety of custom products including medical devices, fitness equipment, consumer products, industrial machines, and manufacturing automation. Last year we engineered, manufactured, and installed the new skin and lighting modules for the revamped 2026 Times Square New Year's Eve Ball.
What you'll do: The Sales Engineer owns the full sales pipeline, from first contact through quotation and customer PO, for a wide range of clients, from independent inventors to Fortune 500 companies. This role is the primary point of contact for prospective clients and is responsible for translating client needs into scoped, quoted projects our engineering and manufacturing team can execute. You will be selling jobs ranging from $10k to $1M, with the bigger jobs having long sales cycles. Manage the full sales cycle: initial contact, discovery, follow-up, and close Build relationships with and sell to inventors, small businesses, and large enterprise clients Write quotes for custom, one-off engineering and manufacturing projects Own our CRM (Zoho) - keep pipeline, tasks, and records accurate and up to date Complete and send client-facing paperwork Support marketing efforts, including website upkeep and AdWords campaigns Take initiative - identify what's inefficient or unclear in how we sell, and propose fixes Basic facts
Salary: $80-$120k commensurate with experience (fixed salary, not commission-based)
Hours: standard 9 - 5, on site. Occasional travel to customer / prospect sites possible
