Strawn Arnold & Associates has been retained to recruit a Director, Revenue Finance and Controllership for a Life Sciences company. This is a very impactful role in a dynamic and rapidly growing organization with multiple succession opportunities. This role is located in the Greater Miami area. A relocation package is available.
Position Summary: The Director, Revenue Finance and Controllership will lead a large team and will have dual responsibility overseeing both the organization's accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations as well as leading the Revenue Finance team. The role reports to the top Finance leader in the Division. The accounting function will manage the accounting department, lead all aspects of general accounting and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and provide financial analysis and guidance to senior management. The Revenue Finance team supports all revenue recognition processes to ensure that financials and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations. In addition, ensuring accurate gross to net calculations for sales discounts and allowance accruals, channel accruals and related reconciliations and reporting inclusive of 3rd party profit statements. The position has responsibility for both the revenue finance function, G/N, charge back, rebates etc. and the controllership function. Requirements for the role include: CPAGross to Net experience Demonstrated experience in a financial leadership role that includes controllership and revenue finance experienceA full role profile is available.
