About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Head of Data to play a pivotal role in ensuring the trustworthiness and reliability of the data that underpins its AI and business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure, including pipelines, models, and definitions, to support the company's global fundraising platform. This hands-on role involves owning the data layer, setting data contracts for AI and programmatic access, and being the source of truth for business and finance data. The Head of Data will also lead a small team, ship AI-powered initiatives, and work closely with product analytics, ML, and AI builders to meet their data needs. Applicants for the Head of Data position at the company should have a strong technical background, with experience in building and running production data pipelines, strong SQL and Python skills, and a proven track record of delivering AI/ML to production. The role requires a leader who can explain technical decisions in business terms, is adept at reconciling data across different functions, and has experience in scaling data capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, with a focus on continuous improvement, and a passion for building a data function from the ground up. Nice-to-have skills include experience with LLM/agentic frameworks, MCP servers, analytics engineering, and exposure to payments, fintech, or the nonprofit sector. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
