Plant Manager – Sumterville, FLWe are recruiting an experienced Plant Manager for a cement manufacturing operation in Sumterville, FL.This is a senior site leadership role with responsibility for overall plant performance, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, environmental compliance, cost control and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead all major plant operating functions
  • Drive safe, reliable and efficient plant performance
  • Develop plant operating goals and long-term improvement plans
  • Manage production, maintenance and capital improvement priorities
  • Monitor costs, productivity and plant performance
  • Build and develop a strong plant leadership team
  • Maintain effective relationships with employees, regulators, vendors and the local community
What We're Looking For:
  • 10+ years of cement or lime manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated plant leadership/management responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Natural Sciences, Business Administration or related field
  • Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing, including crushing, grinding and pyroprocessing
  • Working knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams
