About the role

West Virginia Department of Transportation seeks an entry-level Transportation Worker 1 Equipment Operator to assist in highway construction and maintenance at Summer County Headquarters. Duties include operating light trucks and various construction vehicles, flagging traffic, and performing minor fleet maintenance. CDL training is provided within six months of hire. The position may require irregular hours and over 40 hours per week; travel may be needed. Tier 1 hourly rate is $16.3538.
