Primary duties include maintaining office records, and implementing office-based procedures and policies as directed by the Corporate Office. This position would be located at our on site office location, outside of Carlsbad New Mexico.Responsibilities/Competencies Assist employees with employment paperwork, verifying documents, E-verify, Attorney General, completeness of paperwork and adhering to deadlines of submitting information into required databases.Enter correct phase codes correctly and material recapsGeneral office duties including scanning paperwork for all, answering phones, filing and maintaining written and electronic documentation and correspondence., copying, and data entry as directed by project managementBalance and submit time via recap from signed timesheets to payroll in the allotted timeframeObtain required authorization/approvals for various paperworkAssist Site Manager and Superintendents with weekly progress reportsSupport Superintendent with equipment inventory, tracking, and coding.Ensure procurement of office supplies and consumable materialsAssist Purchasing with paperwork, collecting and matching delivery tickets, communicate with vendors, prepare for billingReceive, sort, and log all incoming deliveries; prepare all outbound deliveries.Assist Project HSE site on-boarding including safety orientationScanning, reports, and drug testing (must be approved by Sr. HR Manager only)Administering and submitting forms in a timely manner, help craft employees regarding questions pertaining to insurance benefits, FMLA, 401K, and other benefit related issuesRequirements 2+ years of experience in field clerk/office management in a construction environmentWilling to work in a construction environment and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.Ability to work at project office locationHours are 6am-6:30pm / Monday through FridayPer Diem offered if candidates live more than 50 miles from project site.Travel may be required depending on project locationLiaison between Superintendent and craft employeesWork closely with the corporate HR team regarding field paperworkProficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, Outlook, WordWork cooperatively with others and take direction well.Comply with the attendance requirements of the project.Authorized to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.Saulsbury is an equal opportunity employer.
