✨ About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production & Purchase Order Coordinator to join our apparel production team. This is an entry-to-junior-level role with a primary focus on purchase order creation, production timelines, vendor communication, production tracking, and record management. You will help ensure purchase orders move accurately and efficiently through each stage of the production process. This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in apparel production and gain hands-on experience across the supply chain. As you develop your knowledge and experience, there is an opportunity to grow into a more specialized Logistics Coordinator or Quality Control Coordinator role.
📋 Key Responsibilities: Purchase Orders & Production Tracking
  • Create, issue, update, and maintain purchase orders (POs), ensuring styles, colors, quantities, pricing, and delivery information are accurate
  • Track production timelines and deadlines from PO creation through completion
  • Maintain production calendars, WIP reports, spreadsheets, and PO tracking systems
  • Monitor upcoming deadlines and proactively follow up on late or at-risk production
  • Review PO quantities and production information for accuracy and discrepancies
  • Track shortages, overages, outstanding quantities, and production changes Vendor, Sample & Approval Coordination
  • Communicate with factories and vendors regarding production status, samples, approvals, and delivery dates
  • Coordinate and track fit samples, PP samples, salesman samples, TOP samples, and other production approvals
  • Track fabric, trims, labels, packaging, testing, and other requirements needed to keep production moving
  • Maintain organized records for purchase orders, samples, approvals, production status, and shipments Logistics & Quality Control Support
  • Support shipment preparation, including bookings, packing lists, shipping documentation, and delivery coordination
  • Assist with quality control processes, including inspections, sample approvals, testing requirements, and factory corrections
  • Work closely with production, design, warehouse, and logistics teams to keep orders organized, accurate, and on schedule✅ Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in apparel production, product development, purchasing, merchandising, logistics, or administrative coordination preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with quantities, dates, pricing, and purchase orders
  • Ability to manage multiple styles, POs, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office
  • Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Quality Control CoordinatorFocus on product quality, inspections, testing, production standards, sample approvals, factory corrections, and ensuring finished goods meet company requirements. This is an opportunity to learn the full apparel production process from purchase order creation through final shipment and build toward a long-term career in production, logistics, or quality control.💰 Compensation$18–$25/hour, based on experience
