About the role
- Greets guests in a friendly, helpful manner
- Offers to carry luggage to and from guest rooms
- Assists with crowd control during peak times, such as check-in and check-out
- Assists guests with moving rooms when necessary
- Escorts potential guests to rooms for viewing purposes and shows the property
- Directs traffic in the parking lot area and keeps the traffic lanes open
- Opens doors and assists guests/visitors entering and leaving the property
- Handles guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Cleans and maintains the upkeep of the bell carts
- Provides guests with information about hotel policies, amenities, and services
- Assists the pool attendants with keeping the pool decks clean and organized
- Assists the grounds department with cleanliness of the property while walking the grounds
- Assists the front desk by answering phone calls and providing service to guests at the front desk
- Other duties as assigned
- What are we looking for?
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
- Weekend availability
- Available to work 3pm-11pm shifts
- Ability to lift and carry luggage and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with the local area and attractions preferred
- Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
- Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
