Role Description: The Operational Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC. This position is responsible for coordinating daily operations across production, inventory, and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The role includes monitoring workflows, tracking key operational metrics, and identifying process improvements to support business growth. The Operational Specialist collaborates with sales and customer service teams to align operations with client needs, maintains documentation and compliance records, and supports project planning and execution. Responsibilities will include answer customer calls and also responding to customer requests and/or order adjustments This team member also helps streamline communication between departments and assists with implementing operational best practices. The role starts part-time but has opportunity to grow into a full-time position. Be prepared to work independently and in an indoor environment.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor performance, and support process optimization. Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear updates on operational activities. Candidates should possess Sales-related understanding to support order processing, customer inquiries, and coordination with the sales team. Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee daily workflows, inventory control, and logistics activities. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute operational initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Relevant experience in small business or manufacturing operations, wellness or natural products industries is beneficial. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment are preferred. Proficiency with office software and basic data management tools; prior experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plus. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is advantageous.
