About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for the Central Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for regional growth leadership, meeting and exceeding area growth expectations through strategic sales initiatives and targeted market penetration. This role requires a strong focus on bookings, renewal, and pipeline targets across the territory, as well as subject matter expertise in the company's educational programs. The VP of Sales will also be tasked with personnel management, including recruiting, training, and managing a team of Sales Directors, and will be expected to establish and nurture relationships with high-level school district leaders. Cross-functional collaboration, sales strategy development, and the ability to deliver compelling sales presentations are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for the VP of Sales role at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and have at least 10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, particularly in education or related industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, strong leadership abilities, and exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A strategic, data-driven approach to decision-making, proficiency in sales management software, and a willingness to travel extensively are also required. Experience in a SaaS-based sales environment, a deep understanding of the education landscape within the territory, and established relationships with district leaders are highly valued. The role demands a results-oriented, self-starting professional with the ability to handle ambiguity, and a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the mission of serving the educational community. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
