About the role
- Expert knowledge in standardized testing
- Comfortable tutoring ACT/SAT and World History courses
- At least 2 years of verifiable experience, either
- Working for a reputable tutoring company orWorking as a teacher at an accredited high school, college, or university
- Extremely reliable, friendly, and confident – no wallflowers! We only hire people with upbeat, outgoing personalities
- Demonstrated passion for helping students excel in school and reach their full potential
- Available after school and on weekends
- Access to a personal laptop for sessions
- Access to a reliable internet connection
- Reliable transportation with valid car insurance for potential in-person sessions
- Ability to consistently schedule with clients in different time zones
- Preferred but not required
- Experience tutoring other standardized tests (e.g., LSAT, MCAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, etc.)Classroom experience (as a teacher or teaching assistant)
- Teaching credential
- Postgraduate degree(s)
