About the role

Our entertainment based NY client seeks a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience supporting clients such as touring musicians, music producers, songwriters, and other creative talent. The ideal candidate brings both strategic oversight and hands-on accounting skills, with a client-service mindset and deep industry knowledge. The Manager serves as the most hands-on day-to-day team member within the Business Management department, overseeing the full financial life cycle for a roster of clients in the music and touring industry. This role requires tax experience and, critically, direct experience working within the music/touring industry. The Manager acts as the central point of coordination — tracking financial activity, supervising associates, managing client relationships, and serving as the primary liaison between the tax team and clients. This is a high-visibility, high-responsibility role suited to a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage competing priorities, exercise sound financial judgment, and communicate effectively with clients, their teams, and internal staff

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
