About the role

Whitley Recruiting Partners (WRP) is recruiting 3 Sales Development Representatives (SDR) for a Software Start-Up (SaaS company) that sells an AI solution to construction companies in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical. WRP recruits sales professionals for dozens of SaaS start-ups in Raleigh-Durham and this client is headed in the right direction with an all-star team and a leading AE-first product in their category. Our client is a rare example of a high-growth SaaS start-up that is still profitable and has taken some VC funding but still holds full control of their financial decisions. We're looking for hungry sales professionals that want to transition into Software Sales and work for a tight-knit group of people that have little to zero employee turnover and are on a mission to grow and eventually sell the company. Your performance and commission is based on setting outbound meetings with prospects. The office requirements are 3 days/week in-office in a coworking space in RTP where you'll be trained alongside your team of 3 SDRs and 4 AEs. The CEO works locally as well so you'll have a first row seat into how a sales organization grows and doubles in revenue. The salary is $50k and with commission SDRs should earn $75k-$90k in year one with a path to promotion in year 2.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
