About the role
Our client, a fast growing tech company, is seeking a Controller to lead accounting, treasury, financial reporting and reconciliations. This position reports to the CFO and will help build a finance organization that supports the company's continued growth.
Responsibilities:
Direct the month-end close, general ledger, accounts payable and payroll accounting Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPOversee cash management, liquidity, forecasting and banking relationships Manage account reconciliations and resolve open items in a timely manner Maintain and strengthen internal controls Manage external audits, tax advisors and regulatory examinations Develop accounting policies, procedures and scalable processes Lead and develop the accounting staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferred Eight or more years of accounting experience, including three or more in a leadership role Experience in banking or financial services Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience working with external auditors Advanced Excel skills and experience with Quick Books, Net Suite or a similar system
