About the role
To support an innovative results delivery tool, the full-time Licensed Genetic Counselor - NY will provide genetic counseling for hereditary cancer and adult genetics, engaging with multiple clients nationally in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
Support genetic results counseling by providing results to patients and reviewing risk assessments and reports
Engage in professional growth opportunities, including abstracts, publications, and physician education
Collaborate with a nationwide organization of geneticists and counseling colleagues for comprehensive support
Required qualifications:
Master's degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC
Multi-State Genetic Counselor licensure or ability to obtain it
2 years or more of experience in hereditary cancer Genetic Counseling post-Master's Degree (preferred)
