About the role

SY Aesthetics is looking for a personable, organized, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our plastic surgery and aesthetics practice. This is a patient-facing role that combines front-desk operations, exceptional patient experience, sales, and lead coordination. The ideal candidate is confident in communicating with patients, comfortable discussing services and payment options, and able to provide a warm, professional experience from the initial inquiry through the patient’s visit. The role includes appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, payment processing, medical financing assistance, lead follow-up, and supporting patient conversions. Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or a med spa environment is preferred. Spanish fluency is required. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a medical, aesthetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, med spa, or similar patient-facing environment Warm, upbeat, and friendly personality with a welcoming approach to patients Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and patient experience skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Experience with appointment scheduling and calendar management Experience with patient check-in/check-out Experience collecting patient payments and accurately processing transactions Experience discussing or processing patient financing Comfortable communicating pricing and payment options to patients Strong organizational and multitasking skills Sales or consultative sales experience Ability to follow up with prospective patients and convert inquiries into consultations Fluent in English and Spanish Preferred Qualifications Experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or a med spa Experience with CRM, such as GoHigh Level, Salesforce or Hub Spot Familiarity with Meta Business Suite & Meta Ads Manager Lead management / sales pipeline management experience Experience with Care Credit, Alphaeon, Cherry, or similar medical financing platforms Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 9 AM - 5 PM
