We provide flooring installation services to the multi-family industry (apartments, student housing) and to the growing Single Family Rental Homes market. JOB OVERVIEW:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven outside sales representative to join our team, focusing on the thriving Single-family flooring market. This role is ideal for a skilled B2B sales professional with a strong background in prospecting, closing new business, and developing long-term client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth and expanding our market presence through strategic outreach and exceptional customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES: This role primarily generates maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the single family market by effectively selling flooring products and installation services. Sustains a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.Provides all necessary information for each new account/customer.Provides floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates.Promptly addresses customer complaints and problems.Sets and achieves monthly and quarterly goals.Performs random job site inspections. Reports results to the Operations department.Maintains an organized sample/showroom and sales office.Reports to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the marketplaceOther duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:1-2+ years prior outside sales experience and a strong hunter mentality.Prior prospecting experience and success in generating new accounts / closing new business.Strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to use various remote tools, as needed, to conduct business.Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs and/or Google Sheets.Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred. Clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily to various customer sites within the assigned territory.
