About the role
Cursor is hiring a Software Engineer to own the critical backend services that sit between product surfaces and the infrastructure layer, including auth, webhooks, and agent workflows. You'll design scalable auth architectures, power the agent backend, and build robust webhook servers with observability for high-throughput delivery. You should have strong fundamentals in production services, experience with OAuth/JWT/RBAC, and a passion for reliability and performance in multi-step systems.
