About the role
Punch Operator We are currently seeking a Punch Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Punch Operator should have a steady work history that shows commitment, quality, and reliability to their work. You will report promptly to your team leader for your daily duties and will work with your team to ensure that the production goals are reached.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment as needed to produce quality parts.
- Use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure quality standards
- Follow drawings or work orders as provided by a team leader.
- Read/interpret blueprints and make minor adjustments as necessary
- Must be able to maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
- Must work efficiently while keeping safety, quality and production standards in mind at all times.
- To promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
- Any other task asked by the leadership team.
