Job Description: Job Description Please note: This role is based in Bell Gardens, CA.
Position Summary: We are looking for skilled machinists with extensive experience in CNC and/or conventional machining. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of machine setups, fixturing, and "hands-on" programming or editing for CNC operations.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate large CNC and conventional horizontal boring mills, machining centers, lathes, and VTLs. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform "hands-on" programming and editing of CNC machines (for CNC applicants).Utilize shop math to calculate machining speeds, feeds, and dimensions. Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and efficiency.
Qualifications: Minimum of seven (7) years of machining experience. Proficiency in setup and fixturing of large parts. Strong understanding of machining principles, shop math, and speeds/feeds. Experience with CNC programming and editing (for CNC machinists).Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and precision.
