The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting quality control and assurance checks, managing quality processes, performing inspections, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure product integrity.Essential Functions:Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure piece parts and products meet drawing requirementsUtilizing work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect dataCompleting first article inspections (FAIs)In process inspections for drawing complianceFinal assembly inspections for product acceptance and workmanshipCleanroom and laminar flow bench certificationElectrical fabrication internal certificationReceiving inspection processing - dock to stockBasic Qualifications:Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant inspector experience, or, 2 years post Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related inspector experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Possession of IPC certifications 610, 620, J-STDExperience using Oracle MRP/ERP systemExperience using Dassault Systemes Velocity MESAttention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specificationsIntermediate understanding of GD&TProficiency in using precision measurement toolsKnowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materialsAttention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuringStrong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environmentIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $25.00 - $46.63. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $21.63 - $40.38. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
