Automation Engineer - Playwright Hybrid in Charlotte, NC12+ mos.
Job Description: Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in test automation design, development, and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Playwright (Java Script/Type Script), Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and API Automation to support end-to-end quality assurance initiatives across web applications and services. The role requires a hands-on automation professional who can build scalable test frameworks, improve test coverage, and collaborate effectively with development and product teams.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.• Create and execute UI and API automation test cases.• Develop robust automation solutions using Playwright with Java Script/Type Script.• Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium Web Driver.• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber and develop reusable test scenarios.• Perform API testing and automation for RESTful services.• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.• Participate in test strategy planning, test estimation, and release validation activities.• Ensure automation suites are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
