Shift: Day Shift (2-2-3 schedule)
Compensation: $25-32/hr
Overview: We are seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing equipment and production operations in a highly automated pharmaceutical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, military veterans, trade school graduates, or individuals with mechanical and electrical aptitude looking to begin a career in industrial maintenance. The Associate Maintenance Technician will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians, engineers, and operations teams to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support production line reliability. The ideal candidate is hands-on, eager to learn, and interested in developing technical skills within a world-class manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the maintenance and repair of production, packaging, and manufacturing equipment. Perform preventive maintenance activities on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems. Support troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve equipment issues impacting production. Assist with equipment inspections, lubrication, parts replacement, and routine maintenance tasks. Work with senior technicians and engineers to improve equipment reliability and uptime. Support line setups, changeovers, and startup activities. Document maintenance activities accurately within maintenance management systems. Follow all safety procedures, GMP requirements, and standard operating procedures. Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and equipment performance.
Required Qualifications: Associate degree, technical diploma, military training, or equivalent hands-on experience in one of the following: Industrial Maintenance Mechatronics Mechanical Technology Electrical Technology Industrial Systems Technology Manufacturing TechnologyHVAC Technology Automotive/Diesel Technology Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and learn new technologies. Ability to work a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, including day or night shifts. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn maintenance management software.
Preferred Qualifications: Internship, co-op, military, manufacturing, maintenance, or technician experience. Exposure to conveyors, motors, pumps, valves, sensors, compressors, or automated production equipment. Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, chemical, or other regulated manufacturing environments. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability concepts. Exposure to PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems. Understanding of GMP environments and quality-driven manufacturing operations.
