About the Role:
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to provide enterprise leadership in a range of financial activities, including financial reporting, treasury and asset oversight, management reporting, business analytics, and financial systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a strong financial control environment that supports the organization's strategy, compliance, and sustainable growth. This role involves leading the financial close and reporting processes, maintaining a robust internal control framework, and overseeing financial planning and analysis activities. The Vice President of Finance will also be a key liaison for external auditors and will be involved in the development and maintenance of management reporting standards. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA or other relevant professional certifications strongly preferred. A minimum of 12 years' of accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years' in a leadership role, is required. Experience in a complex nonprofit, healthcare, human services, government contracting, or multi-entity environment is also preferred. The role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, and who can effectively partner with program leadership to enhance organizational performance. The ideal candidate will promote a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement, and will be adept at building and developing a high-performing finance team.
