About the role
Leading the tax strategy for a global technology company, the full-time California Licensed Tax Director will manage consolidated tax reporting, US compliance, and planning functions while overseeing ASC 740 income tax provisions and partnering with executive leadership in a fully remote or hybrid role.
Key responsibilities:
Drive the redesign of ASC 740 income tax provision workpapers and lead quarterly and annual provision calculations
Own the consolidated US income tax returns and manage IRS audits and compliance matters
Shape tax strategy by analyzing international tax considerations and supporting business growth initiatives
Required qualifications:
CPA and Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field
15+ years of progressive tax experience, particularly in a multinational corporation
Deep expertise in ASC 740, federal tax planning, and international tax matters such as GILTI and FDII
Proven experience leading teams and collaborating with executive stakeholders
Exceptional leadership and influencing skills
