About the role

California Food Policy Advocates seeks a policy advocate to support its nutrition and health agenda. Daily tasks include advocacy, engagement, analysis, research, writing, and speaking with community partners and decision makers at federal, state, and local levels. Responsibilities include gathering stories, analyzing data, drafting memos and issue papers, presenting materials for social media, and representing CFPA at state and local meetings. Some travel within California is required.
