Key Responsibilities:
Operate and support the daily functions of the powder-coating system on the paint line Ensure consistent application of high-quality finishes on all parts processed through the line Monitor equipment performance and perform routine maintenance to maintain optimal operation Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and improve processes At Labconco, we foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and respect. Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of powder-coating systems or similar finishing processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to operate and troubleshoot coating equipment Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting This is a union-represented position within the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), with wages, benefits, and working conditions governed by the collective bargaining agreement.
