About the role
At Payam Music, students fall in love with piano. While traditional methods have remained unchanged since Mozart’s era, our patent-pending curriculum helps students learn to play piano faster and more effectively. The curriculum teaches beginners using an innovative alphabetical and numerical notation which allows students to play melodies from their favorite songs within just minutes!
Our students consistently outperform national averages, with 96% reaching diploma level in just 4-5 years, compared to the national average of 1-2% over 10-12 years. In 2025, our students competed against over 300,000 participants, taking the top 4 of 5 Washington state spots and #1 national spot in the prestigious PTA Reflections competition.
Payam Music currently offers private 1:1 lessons in our schools and online.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
