About the role
Fuego is redefining dance footwear with sneakers built for dance and everyday life — combining style, performance, and comfort in every step. We're looking for a hands-on, part-time Finance Associate to support the financial operations of the business. This is a builder's role — you'll bring structure, rigor, and forward visibility to a business that's scaling internationally across DTC and wholesale channels. You'll partner directly with the CEO on strategy while supporting execution on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and finance administration. This is a remote, part-time, contract position.
What You’ll Do:
Build and maintain rolling budgets and financial forecasts across DTC, wholesale channels Track budget vs. actuals monthly and flag variances with clear explanations and recommendations Optimize working capital across AP, AR, and inventory financing Provide financial analysis to support key strategic decisions Build and maintain KPI dashboards Model scenarios for major initiatives Oversee AP/AR processes, contractor and vendor payments across multiple countries and currencies Take on special projects as they arise in a fast-moving, lean organization What We’re Looking For 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally including time at a high-growth DTC, e-commerce, or consumer products company Strong command of financial modeling, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting Proficiency in Quick Books (or similar) and advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills — able to translate financial detail into clear guidance High ownership mentality; comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment where you'll wear multiple hats
