Job Description Pat's Offroad, Inc. is a growing oilfield service company based in the Gillette, Wyoming area. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shop Diesel Mechanic to join our team immediately. This is a full-time position, with typical hours ranging from 40-50 hours per week. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, pickup trucks, and company equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Repair and maintain specialized heating and field equipment
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and equipment
- Replace faulty components and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Assist with additional shop and operational duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, components, and mechanical systems
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to use diagnostic software, tools, and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to the shop in Gillette, WYAdditional Requirements
